Some swelling and bruising is normal, and will heal up in a few days to a week. We are already loving the size and shape!

This sweet patient had previously been treated by a well known injector in another city. She told me that they used a dental block as analgesia for lip fillers. I offered her one, but recommended that she give my way a try first if she was open to it.

She didn’t need the dental block. She didn’t even need some of our other methods that I sometimes deploy in addition to topical. She did great with just topical!

Bottom line – don’t be scared of lip filler! We have lots of tools make you comfortable. The discomfort is temporary and it’s always worth it!
