No, Physiq is a very comfortable treatment. During your treatment you may feel warmth at the applicator site but the energy, delivery, and unique patient control features ensure optimal comfort.
The treatment usually lasts around 30 minutes to an hour. Smaller areas of the body take less time to treat.
Patients start to see results just 2 weeks after treatment. Maintaining a steady weight, eating a healthy diet, and committing to regular exercise will help you maintain your results.
Best results are seen after a series of 5 treatment sessions with each session spaced 1-2 weeks apart. Some patients are happy with just 2 or 3 treatment sessions and some require maintenance treatments later.
Most patients report little to no side effects with PHYSIQ treatments. Slight redness in the treatment areas, very mild swelling, and soreness are possible but should quickly dissipate.
A medical history and exam will be conducted during the consultation to determine that you are an appropriate candidate for treatment. Some exclusions include: pacemaker, metal implant in treatment area, pregnant or nursing, seizure disorder, or blood clots.
Aftercare for the Physiq is simple. Drink plenty of water, and massage the treatment area twice per day. Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours and avoid getting a sunburn at the treatment site. You can schedule your next treatment as soon as one week later.
